The History of the Christmas Project
2017
Virtual Subway Ads
Inspired by K-Pop birthday culture, we created a virtual ad. We were encouraged to see both Christians and non-Christians enjoying the content and interacting with one another online. We dreamed and prayed for the day we could make a real-life ad just like it.

Bus and Bus Stop Ads
Our dream became a reality. We placed "Happy Birthday Jesus" ads at bus stops and on two buses in Jamsil and Hyehwa. People stopped in their tracks, remembering Christmas and taking photos of the ads, which they then shared with the world

Coffee Trucks
We wanted to share the joy of Christmas in person. So we sent our Jesus Birthday Coffee Truck to Soongsil and Kookmin Universities, where we met students exhausted from their exams. They were able to get a short break with our coffee and cotton candy, and together, we shared the joy of Christmas.

2023
The Birthday Cafe
We wanted to create a place to share the joy of Christmas for an even longer time.
We opened a Jesus Birthday Cafe in Hyehwa, where visitors were able to experience the joy of Christmas and learn about Jesus’s love. As the project grew, news of our events began to spread far and wide, reaching an international audience.

The Birthday Cafe and Bus Stop Ads
We opened a Jesus Birthday Cafe again in front of Konkuk University and also put up bus stop ads. The cafe became more than just a place to enjoy the joy of Christmas; it became a venue for people to invite their acquaintances and share the gospel. As a result, over 400 non-Christians were able to hear the good news.

The Birthday Cafe and Bus Stop Ads
